The electronic devices are exposed to external electromagnetic signals that produce an unwanted signal called noise in the circuit, which causes interference [EMI] problems. It occurs two modes: radiated mode and conducted mode. In radiation mode, shielding technique is used for conduction filtering used. design of EMI filter depends upon type generated by Switched Mode Power supply circuit [SMPS]. SMPS this paper a DC-DC power converter, Boost converter step-up Buck step down considered as equipment generation noise, Line Impedance Stabilization Network [LISN]is generating common output impedance converters, filters designed eliminate circuits. There converters Common [CM] Differential [DM] noise. separation from done using separator. paper, CM these eliminated designing inductor PI filter. comparison between LC boost buck observed. has better performance characteristics when compared both circuits per Comité International Special des Perturbations Radioélectriques [CISPR] standards.
